About Alischa Ross:

Alischa Ross YEAH (Youth Empowerment Against HIV/AIDS) in March 2005, with fellow Director Karen Cochrane. YEAH continues to operate as Australia’s only youth focused HIV/AIDS education and advocacy organisation.

Alischa has successfully worked as a professional public speaker presenting on the international stage in academic forums, teaching workshops and advisory roles to local and national government officials.

Throughout 2005 - 2007 she has participated in a number of profession development courses focused on leadership, governance and strategic development. In 2006 I Alischa was nominated as a finalist for Young Australian of the Year in recognition of her work.
 
In 2007, Alischa began studying her Masters of Public Health, while continuing her commitments as CEO of YEAH.
